１９７６年ショベルヘッド、リジットチョッパー。アメリカのカスタム屋さんが、丁寧に作ったバイクのようです。前後ドラム、S&S Eキャブ、ワンオフシーシーバー、ワンオフシート、ワンオフガスタンク、ワンオフリアフェンダー、ジョッキーシフト、１．５オープンベルト、その他もろもろ、細かいところまで丁寧な作りです。エンジンすぐに始動できてちゃんと走りますが、白煙とタペット音が少し出ているので、その分、プライスを下げての販売となります。このまま乗っても良いですし、さらっとサムズっぽくモディファイして、腰上とタペット周オーバーホールして乗っても良いともいます。円安がひどい最近の現状、４００〜５００でショベルチョッパー乗れるのは今が最後かもしれませんね。今後はどんどん値上がりまちがいないと思います。

1976 Shovelhead, rigid chopper. It appears to be a bike meticulously built by an American custom shop. It features front and rear drum brakes, an S&S E carburetor, a one-off sissy bar, a one-off seat, a one-off gas tank, a one-off rear fender, a jockey shift, a 1.5 open belt, and various other details—every aspect has been carefully crafted. The engine starts right up and runs well, but it produces a bit of white smoke and tappet noise, so we’re selling it at a reduced price to account for that. You can ride it as-is, or you could give it a light “Thumbs-style” modification, overhaul the top end and tappet area, and then ride it. With the yen being so weak these days, this might be your last chance to ride a Shovelhead chopper for 400 to 500. I’m certain prices will only keep going up from here.
